You cannot automate what you have not correctly represented.

Before anything is forecast, before any risk is calculated, before a single workflow is built, the operation has to exist as something a machine can actually read. That is the belief the company is built on. Forge, Radar, and every named part of the architecture are what happens once that belief is taken seriously.

Integrate

Read the operation as it is

Most automation fails before it starts, because it tries to act on an operation nobody has actually described. Not in a deck, but in the structure the work actually runs on: the data it produces, the processes it follows, the models it already trusts, the capacity it actually has on the floor today. Integration isn't a connector. It's the discipline of reading an operation as it is, not as the org chart says it is. Nothing is retained, pooled, or trained on. It passes through and comes back as a read.

Operate

Watched as it runs, not audited after

A correct read isn't the same as a useful one. An operation has to be watched as it runs, not audited after the fact. Modeled forward, not just logged backward. This is where most of what a client actually experiences lives: the number that moves before the breach does, the call that comes to you instead of waiting for you to notice it, the human who still has to say yes. Operating on a correctly integrated substrate is what makes the forecast worth anything. A forecast built on a bad read is just a guess with better formatting.

Automate

Fix the cause, not the symptom

A forecast tells you what's coming. It doesn't stop it from coming back. This last movement is the one most vendors skip, because it means admitting a problem keeps recurring, and then fixing the cause instead of alerting on the symptom again next month. Automation here isn't a feature. It's what you're owed once a pattern has proven itself, scored against a baseline, and kept.
